Savannah Guthrie, co-anchor of NBC’s “Today” show, has released a new children’s book titled “Mostly What God Does Is Love You.” This beautifully illustrated picture book aims to introduce young readers to the concept of God’s unconditional love. Guthrie was inspired to create this work as a companion to her 2024 essay collection, “Mostly What God Does,” which explored themes of faith and divine love for an adult audience.

In a recent interview, Guthrie shared her vision for the book: “I actually immediately had this idea, this vision, that there could be a very sweet and gentle picture book that kind of lays kids down to rest with that beautiful knowledge and that foundation that though they are small and God is big, they are never too small for him.” She added, “He holds the whole world in his hands, but mostly, especially, them.”

“Mostly What God Does Is Love You” is now available in bookstores and online.
