Minno’s newest animated series, “The Dead Sea Squirrels,” brings adventure, humor and biblical lessons to kids through the unlikely friendship between a boy and two ancient squirrels. Created by VeggieTales co-creator Mike Nawrocki, the show follows 6th grader Michael, who discovers two ancient, salt-cured squirrels — Merle and Pearl — near the Dead Sea. Once revived, the pair helps Michael navigate life while adjusting to the modern world.

The series blends humor with biblical truths, offering kids a fun way to engage with faith. “I hope that kids will fall in love with Merle and Pearl, that they will care about what they say, and that they learn key biblical lessons,” Nawrocki shares. “Most of all, I want them to know that God made them special and loves them very much.”

With adventure and lighthearted storytelling, “The Dead Sea Squirrels” introduces moral lessons in a way kids can relate to. Aimed at ages 6-12, it features an all-star voice cast, including Christian comedian Sherri Shepherd and actress Leigh-Allyn Baker. The animation is bright and engaging, supporting Minno’s mission to provide faith-based entertainment for families. Streaming on Minno and other platforms, the show offers a meaningful, entertaining way for kids to connect with God’s love in their everyday lives.
